Informational Web Page

 

Finally finished the mock ups for my informational website on German Short Haired Pointers.  If you notice the navigation at the top has a roll over that changes color to indicate it as a button.  The logo was hand drawn from a reference picture and produced in adobe illustrator.  Backdrop, and Buttons were created in adobe illustrator then edited in adobe photoshop.  All pictures used are borrowed from Google and not mine.

 

 

It has been quite a few years but I decided to try out my animation and video editing skills for my new media class.  I'm not gonna lie I wanted to tare my hair out with this project.  It was supposed to be a simple artsie kind of video, but I just couldn't resist.  I ended up going a week over the alloted time we were given because doing this much production by yourself in two weeks with a full time job and

My first movement toward becoming a web designer.  This is two variations of a home page for an informational site on German Shorthaired Pointers.

Menu

 

 

This project we were asked to show our inDesign skills as well as our design sense to create a menu for either an existing restaurant or create a completely new company.  I chose to create my own company since its gives you more creative freedom.  To give credit I did use the menu from Honey Jams a local breakfast restaurant.  However the layout was my decision.

2 page spread

We were asked to create a 2 page spread for a magazine focusing on typography.  He wanted to see our skills in indesign and layout.

Web Banners

This was an exercise in making something campaignable through different types of web banners but remaining true to the company's brand.  I chose to use my original name for this project.

Graphical logo type

This exercise was to show that if you look closely at all letter forms you can find shapes that make sense with what the company is trying to sell or portray.
