This little guy was originally going to be the logo for grumpy ninja grafix. He essentially what inspired the name. After further consideration I realized he was just to much to stick on a business card, but he makes a great mascot.
This poster was created for a class that meant to invoke an emotional response based off a political statement. Though it is somewhat controversial I feel that it makes a very bold statement.
The three above posters for a competition the Ravinia holds every year. Their theme was the summer of love and the season of stars. This was both a chance to try and get my art out there but also refine my skills in illustrator.
I absolutely loved this project. We were told by our professor to find a subject line to represent things that happened within out life time. I chose cartoons since they were so pivotal to where I am today with my own art work. I chose to use the great animators and story tellers as represented from past all the way to the present.
This project was meant to teach us about the use of the rotation tool in Adobe Illustrator, but I think I created a pretty cool clock face while learning how to use just one tool in the entire tool box that Illustrator offers.
The above 3 photos were meant to be an exercise in representing things in their simplest forms. Logos are most easily memorable the less details that in them. The instructor told us that he wanted us to create original pictogram's with the 2016 Olympics in mind.
