Typographic Logo

I'm generally more of a graphics kind of person.  Type has never really been my claim to fame.  However; this class is helping me see the light.  It is possible to create logos and such without throwing some kind of graphic into it.  For my second main project we were told to create a logo for three fictional businesses.  This is what I came up with.

Creating contrast was one of the main principles of this assignment.
